A LESSON FROM A DANDELION
Hey Friends,
Have you ever watched a dandelion seed float away on the wind? It does not fight or cling to the stem, it simply lets go, trusting the wind to carry it exactly where it needs to be.
Now, if only we could be more like that right? But letting go is difficult in the best circumstances. Whether it is fear of the unknown, self- doubt, or uncertainty about God’s plan for us, releasing our grip can feel scary.
But here is what I have learned from the dandelion: Letting go is not losing, IT IS TRUSTING. Trusting that where we land will be exactly where we are meant to grow next.
Personal growth often requires us to release control and trust that God is guiding us. Just like in our Faith, where we lean on Him for direction, we must learn to let go of the things that hold us back. The worry, doubt or the need for a perfect plan.
The seed does not know where it will land, but it lets the wind do its work. Maybe it is time that we do the same.
So, what is one thing that you need to release today? Fear? A past mistake? A dream that no longer fits your journey?
Take a deep breath my friend. Trust God’s timing. Trust the process. You never know what beautiful beginning is waiting for you just ahead.
Cheering you on, and remember that YOU ARE LOVED!
Lauren
