Some days, life feels like a bus ride.

You are the driver. You have got your hands on the wheel, your eyes on the road, and a destination in your heart. Even if the GPS feels a bit fuzzy sometimes. Along the way people hop on. Friends. Mentors. Partners. Customers. Supporters. And sometimes…they hop off.

It is easy to look in the rearview mirror and wonder why someone got off. Maybe they were your closest confidant. Maybe you thought they would ride with you forever. Maybe you gave them the best seat. And then one day, the seat was empty.

But here is the thing: Your bus has many stops, and not every passenger is meant to go the whole journey with you.

As a life coach I often see how painful it is when relationships shift or fade. We question our worth. We question God’s plan. But what if we saw these passengers not as losses, but as part of the ride. Every person brought something to your journey. A lesson. A laugh. A mirror. Sometimes even a push to keep moving.

In John 15, Jesus reminds us that He is the true vine. And sometimes branches are pruned. Not to harm but to make space for new growth. You are never alone on this ride. God is not only your GPS. He built the entire road. And He knows exactly who needs to be sitting beside you in this season.

So do not regret your passengers, even the ones who got off too soon. They were part of your becoming. And your bus? It is still moving. Still full of purpose.

Who are you thankful for today, even if they are no longer on your bus? And who is sitting beside you know cheering you on? Maybe it is time to send a thank-you. Or maybe it is time to make room for someone new.

Keep your hands on the wheel. Trust the journey. God is not finished with your route.

Lots of love
